Lindsay Carey joined Ashford Securities in September 2022 as Vice President of Due Diligence. In this role, Lindsay focuses on the analysis of offering documents, performance, distribution coverage, and other important matters related to the public and private real estate offerings distributed by Ashford Securities. Lindsay also manages relationships and responds to due diligence inquiries from third party due diligence firms, broker dealers, and RIAs to assist in their review of products.

Prior to joining Ashford Securities, Lindsay was supervisor of the Fund Management Team for the State of Vermont where she helped to secure and manage federal funds for the Department of Environmental Conservation. Prior to her work in Vermont, Lindsay served several roles in the financial services industry most recently as Vice President, Due Diligence at Cantor Fitzgerald Investors where she managed due diligence for the firm’s non-traded REIT and Delaware Statutory Trust (DST) funds. Prior to her work at Cantor, she worked at W. P. Carey Inc. first in National Accounts and then in Due Diligence.

Lindsay holds a B.A. from the University of Vermont in Art History with a minor in Economics and an M.P.P. from the Pepperdine University School of Public Policy with specializations in Economics and Government.
