Ben Hilgers serves as Senior Vice President, National Sales Manager, for Ashford Securities. Mr. Hilgers has over 20 years of experience raising capital in the alternative investment space. He is responsible for managing Ashford’s sales team and overseeing their sales & marketing efforts throughout the United States. In his role, Ben works with broker/dealers & financial advisors in providing product education, market knowledge, and support on the Ashford Securities offerings.

Throughout his career, Ben has raised over $1 billion across numerous investment offerings. Prior to joining Ashford, Ben spent five years with Triloma, a Florida-based private equity firm where he successfully raised capital for over 50 private placement offerings. He also spent 12 years at CNL Securities, serving in various positions, including Internal Sales Manager and Vice President of Sales overseeing Florida & Puerto Rico.

He earned his B.S., Cum Laude, from Minnesota State University in Moorhead, MN, with a double major in International Business & Spanish in 2000. He holds his FINRA 7 & 24 licenses and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.

Ben resides in Orlando, FL, with his wife & son. Ben speaks fluent Spanish and in his free time, enjoys coaching little league baseball, water skiing, and snowboarding.
