Melissa Birdsall is Regional Vice President of Ashford Securities, responsible for sales, marketing, and education throughout the Central region. Melissa has 19 years of experience raising capital in the financial services industry, with a focus on alternative investments.

Before joining Ashford Securities, Melissa served as Senior Vice President at ExchangeRight, focusing on triple-net essential retail in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region. Prior to that, Melissa was part of the Black Creek Capital team, based in Denver, Colorado. Melissa has also served in a National Accounts capacity and began her career in Investment Banking, working in commodities futures and fixed income trading.

Melissa resides in Minnesota with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and attending local sports events.
