Sean Ryan serves as Regional Vice President of Ashford Securities. He is responsible for all sales and marketing efforts throughout the northeast. Sean has 22 years of experience raising capital in the alternative investment and financial services industries. In his role, Sean works with financial advisors and broker dealers providing product education, market knowledge, excellent service and support on the Ashford Securities product offerings.

Prior to joining Ashford Securities, Sean served as Regional Vice President for PREP Securities, which focused on raising capital for Single Tenant Net Lease private placement offerings. In early 2011, Sean was part of the original team that joined Steadfast Capital Markets Group, which focused on raising capital for Steadfast’s Multifamily non-traded real estate investment trusts. Sean began his career in the financial services industry in 2000 at Wood Logan, the distribution team for what ultimately became John Hancock Annuities.

He earned is BA in Economics from Vanderbilt University in Nashville TN in 2000. He holds his Series 7 and 63 licenses.

He resides in Connecticut with his wife and four children. In his free time he enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family and friends.
